The PFA 5K Nest Challenge

Standings [Updated 9/22/07]
Final 5K Nest Challenge Results

By Joe Elliott, National Marketing Director
What an exciting finish to the PFA 5K Nest Challenge! Congratulations to Nest 128, Duryea, Pa., on its first place finish with a strong sprint at the end. The contest proved to be a spirited one with Nests jockeying back and forth in their positions and making the finish line a very busy place.

As you may remember, the 5K Nest Challenge was a 13-month membership campaign where Nests earned points for life insurance certificates issued with face amounts in multiples of $5,000. Also eligible were annuity and IRA certificates established at a minimum of $5,000 with points for subsequent levels of $5,000. The 5K also referred to the first-place prize of $5,000 that would be awarded to the winning Nest qualifying with a minimum of 30 points.

Cash prizes were also awarded to the next five highest finishing Nests. Those Nests in order of finish were
Nest 176, Pittsburgh, Pa. –– 2nd
Nest 564, La Porte, Ind. –– 3rd
Nest 163, Mocanaqua, Pa. –– 4th
Nest 519, Middletown, Conn. –– 5th
Nest 4, South Bend, Ind. –– 6th.

Everyone who participated in making this membership campaign a success has earned a sincere “thank you.” A complete recap of the contest results can be found below.

Just as expected, the 5K Nest Challenge was a winning situation for everyone involved. Many current members took advantage of the opportunity to purchase the valuable life insurance, annuity and IRA products they needed. The contest encouraged sponsorship of new members, and therefore many recommender fees were awarded. Nests received an increase in membership, which not only should help them with the many projects they operate but also count toward the Pietrowicz Award. On a National level, increased membership helps us grow our fraternal family and also helps us grow as an organization.

Not only did we have exceptional participation throughout our fraternal family system, many Nests took advantage of our licensed insurance sales representatives to assist them in their membership efforts. I hope this experience will encourage you to continue to work together and utilize their talent and experience to continue your Nest’s growth. Each of these representatives is an excellent source of information and assistance.

It is obvious by the increase in membership and new life insurance, annuity and IRA certificates issued that we have spirited individuals dedicated to the growth and continued success of the Polish Falcons of America. It is due to this spirit and effort that we will continue to sustain and grow. Now that you can see how successful you can be, I encourage you to continue the excellent work you are doing. Again, a sincere “thank you” and best wishes
