The National Cultural Committee met on Monday, January 29, via a telephone conference call. It was a first for most of us and it went very well. All but two Districts were present.

After hearing reports from the Districts, we went over some projects that we are working on. The District Commissioners will be giving full reports at their District meetings. The only way we can get these projects off the ground is with your help. Step in and offer your services.

What do you want to know about Polish Easter Traditions? One of our members, Lawrence Kozlowski, has a book called “Celebrate Easter…Polish Style.” In it are recipes, traditions and a number of folk crafts. (There is a Poppy Seed Roll recipe that I am going to try this year.) The book starts with pre-Easter traditions and goes right to Dyngus Day. Cost of the book is $6 plus $1.50 shipping.
