District IV LOH President Plans Legion Circle Meeting
By Nancy Capozoli, District IV Legion President
As the newly elected President of the District IV Legion of Honor Circle at the August District Convention, I truly express my sincere gratitude to all the Circle members for the honor and privilege to follow in the footsteps of my mother, Dorothy Marcuson. She often said that the “Legion escalation” was a living testament of one’s activity, a distinguished recognition of one’s dedication and pride to be a Polish Falcon member.
My hope is to renew and rekindle the importance of reaching the levels of the Legion of Honor to all members. I cordially invite all District IV Legion of Honor Circle members –– all Nests –– to attend a Legion Circle meeting to be held at noon, one hour prior to the planned District IV Plenary meeting, on Saturday, December 1, at the Nest 8 Hall, which is located at 60 South 18th Street in the South Side of Pittsburgh.
If you have any questions, I can be reached by phone at (412) 481-0681 or via e-mail.

Druh Tremiti has been with the Falcons since 1967 and is a member of Nest 52, Rochester, N.Y. In addition, his wife Joanne, two sons, two daughters, one son-in-law, one daughter-in-law and five grandchildren are all Falcon members.
Druh Tremiti’s dedication and hard work doesn’t just end with family matters. Over the course of his Falcons association, he held every Falcons office Nest 52 has to offer and is currently serving his Nest as Financial Secretary. Fraternal participation doesn’t end at Druh Tremiti’s Nest; he has been involved in District IX positions such as Physical Instructor, President and Vice President.
An avid bowler, Druh Tremiti has attended numerous District and National bowling tournaments. Now he is trying his hand at golf and the various events the Falcons offer members. With gatherings such as the annual Myrtle Beach Excursion, Druh Tremiti notes that it’s the camaraderie, not the competition, that he enjoys most of all at these outings.
