Falcon Youth Take Part In Annual Easter Egg Hunt
By Jennifer Hoffman, Nest 176 Treasurer
On Sunday, April 1, Nest 176, Pittsburgh, Pa., held its annual Easter Egg Hunt. Due to the inclement weather (rain, rain and more rain), the Egg Hunt had to be moved into the church hall of Our Lady of the Angels, which is located in Lawrenceville, Pa.

There were a total of nine children ages 8 and under who participated in this year’s hunt, and they successfully found all 250 eggs hidden throughout the hall. After finding what treasures their eggs held, the children were treated to drinks and cupcakes. Our winning egg was found by Eve Szoszorek, and in addition to the pail and shovel each child received for participating, she received a $10 cash prize. Congratulations, Eve!
A special thanks to Pat and Ellen LaLonde, who are children of our Nest Instructress, Renee, for helping to hide all the eggs.
