Nest 45 Family Helps Feed The Hungry
By Ronald Merzweiler, District II National Director
In October, the Missouri Fraternal Congress had a workday to pack boxes at the largest food pantry in the St. Louis region. District II National Director Ron Merzweiler, Sr., his wife Jan, grandson Will and granddaughter Samantha worked with several other fraternals, including the Catholic Knights and CSA Fraternal Life.
During our three-hour period at the pantry, we all packed enough food to feed more than 11,706 people. Not only was it a fun afternoon, but we also got the opportunity to help out with a worthy cause. As an added bonus, we had the chance to meet plenty of good people.

Member Highlights Pol-Am Cultural Society Ball
By Ronald Merzweiler, District II National Director
Everyone gathered at the Sunset Country Club in St. Louis, Mo., for the prestigious Polish American Cultural Society Ball. Everything looked beautiful as the guests, dressed in their finest, entered the grand ballroom.
Soon there was a drum roll and the doors opened slowly to the ballroom, and the event’s master of ceremonies announced Miss Heather Amanda Merzweiler, escorted by her father Ronald R. Merzweiler, Jr. She looked so elegant in her long, white dress while holding a lovely bouquet of red roses. As she bowed gracefully to those in attendance, her impressive resume was read.
Needless to say, grandma Jan and grandpa Ron are very proud.
