Members Celebrate Polish Heritage Month
By Nest 494
In honor of Polish Heritage Month, the Falconettes of Nest 494, Batavia, N.Y., held a Polish tureen on October 1.

Some of the delicious food served at this event included pierogi with cheese and sauerkraut, lenieve pierogi, lenieve golabki, rice and apples, sauerkraut with pork/bacon/Polish sausage, kluski bake, cucumbers and sour cream, bigos with sausage, rye bread and butter, pineapple upside-down cake, and placek.

In addition to the food, everyone enjoyed socializing. “Thank you” to everyone that brought a dish to share with the group.
