Upcoming Events [11/21/07] The Nest 907 annual Christmas Party and Election of Officers will take place on Sunday, December 16, at the home of Tom and Kathy Tracey, located at 3347 N. Nagle in Chicago, Ill. The party will start at 1 p.m. with the Election to take place at 6 p.m. No RSVPs are required; just show up. On January 27, 2008, Nest 907 will have its Installation of Officers Dinner at J.C. Pub & Ristorante, located at 8650 Joliet Road in McCook, Ill. Cocktails will be at noon with dinner to take place at 1 p.m. RSVP by January 18 to Joan Beilfuss at (708) 863-1378.
Wedding Announcement [9/24/07] Peter is the son of Leonard and Albina “Beanie” Kazmierowicz, both life-long members of Nest 907. Peter has been a member of the Polish Falcons since 1964 and is Nest 907’s Vice President. Peter is a registered nurse at Ingalls Memorial Hospital, which is located in Harvey, Ill. Peter and Laura first met in 2001 while bowling in a league with other Nest 907 members. Engagement Announcement [6/21/07]
Beth, a graduate of Flat Rock High School and Grand Valley State University, is employed as a human resources specialist at Staffing Inc. in Grand Rapids, Mich. Paul, a graduate of Brother Rice High School and DeVrys University, works as a software engineer at Littlefuse in Des Plaines, Ill. Both members come from 100-percent Falcon families. Beth’s parents are Joan and John Pawlukiewicz of Flat Rock, Mich., and her grandparents are Alice and the late John Ostrowski from New Castle, Pa., along with the late Josephine and John Pawlukiewicz from Detroit, Mich. Paul’s parents are Dolores and Thomas Sadowski of Nest 907, and his grandparents are Ann and the late Joseph Kendra of Chicago, Ill., along with the late Sophie and Tom Sadowski Sr. of Nest 907. Beth and Paul first met at the 2003 Polish Falcons of America National Volleyball Tournament in South Bend, Ind. (Beth’s parents also met for the first time at a PFA event, with theirs being during a Zlot.) Recent Events [6/20/07]
After waving to the crowd on a float sponsored by District II, the kids and their Instructresses toured the city, which included a stop at Millennium Park and visit to the “Bean” and “Face Fountains.” The kids had a blast and can’t wait to attend next year’s event. A big “Thank You” to everyone who helped out, from the adults who chaperoned this afternoon to District II for providing the float.
