Diamond Polka Weekend Changes Resort Site

Florida, N.Y. (PMN)—The United Polka Artists organization, which started polka weekends years ago, has decided to move its upcoming weekend to the beautiful Hudson Valley Resort, Kerhonkson, N.Y. As a result, the next “Diamond Polka Weekend” will be held Friday-Sunday, April 4-6, 2008.

The resort has been newly renovated. Located in the Catskill Mountains, it was originally the “Granit” hotel.

The band line-up will include not only Jimmy Sturr & his Orchestra, but Eddie Forman, Joe Stanky & the Cadets, Eddie Derwin & the Polka Naturals, Dennis Polisky & the Maestro’s Men, Del Sinchak and Johnny Dee & His Orchestra.
