Our IMPACT! Program gives Members the opportunity to make a difference in their communities by providing $150 grants to support community service projects and fundraising events.
Since the program launched in 2023, PFA Members have spearheaded charitable initiatives across multiple states, supporting causes ranging from children in foster care to food pantries to animal shelters, veterans, breast cancer research, and families in crisis.
Our Members have used IMPACT! grants to turn their ideas into meaningful action. Past projects have included:
• Collecting pet food, blankets and other supplies for an animal shelter.
• Organizing a donation drive to provide beds and bedding for children in need.
• Supporting a local food pantry serving dozens of families each week.
• Creating a community garden at a transitional shelter for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.
• Organizing fundraisers to help fellow Members affected by flooding.
• Collecting toys for children and gift cards for older children during the holiday season.
• Holding sock drives benefiting people experiencing homelessness and veterans.
• Supporting breast cancer awareness and fundraising efforts.
• Purchasing needed supplies for organizations serving families in crisis and children in foster care.
• Honoring former PFA Members and veterans through a holiday wreath-laying project.
Now it’s your turn.
As we head into the fall season, we are inviting Members to submit their ideas for a community service project or fundraising event. Whether you want to support a local charity, organize a collection drive, raise funds for an important cause, or help people in your own community, your idea could be eligible for a $150 IMPACT! grant.
1. Make a plan.
Identify a community service project or fundraising event you’d like to organize.
2. Apply through the PFA website.
Submit your project or event plan for consideration.
3. Make an IMPACT!
If selected, use your $150 grant to help bring your project or event to life.
4. Report back.
Grant recipients are asked to share the results of their project or event with us so we can celebrate the difference PFA members are making in their communities.
Your idea doesn’t have to be complicated. It just needs to make a difference.
