The 55th National Golf Tournament is now in our memories! Perfect weather both days, a nice Falcon Member owned golf course, great food and fabulous fraternalism!
Close to 130 golfers participated in our most recent event! I would say a great time was had by all!
Thank you to all the golfers, hole sponsors, those who donated coats or cash to the cause, and also the Members of Nest 336, Jackson, Michigan!
The foursome from New Britain – Jozef Gorski, Zbigniew Bogacki, Ben Nadzieja and Stanley Rembisz, along with Sue Kobek and Vicki Mlynarczyk from South Bend (both ladies in their Falcon hats), led the singing of the Polish National Anthem. David Grine from New Castle conducted the National Anthem. Thank you to all!
Congratulations to all the winners of both the individual event and the doubles scrambles, as well as those who won a skin!

While presenting awards to the golfers, I had the opportunity to present a Beyond the Gold certificate, gift and pin. Charles Johns and James Sokolowski were the escorts! The recipient was Bernard Wolny, who has been a Member since he was a child; Bernie joined the Falcons in 1944! Bernie has served in numerous positions including (but not limited to), Nest 124 President, District XIII President, District XIII Representative to the Commandery and also the Grand Master of the Legion of Honor! Druh received his Gold Legion of Honor in 2010 and still continues his involvement in the PFA. Druh Wolny was our most seasoned golfer this year at the young age of 89! Bernie is another one who inspires me! Congratulations!!!
The 56th Tournament will be hosted by Nest 182, Ambridge, Pa., with golfing on Thursday, August 7 and Friday, August 8, 2025. Hotels have been booked, courses reserved, and even the buses for the evenings are already ordered.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to these three guys. Without whom, my work would have been so much more challenging! John Nicpon, who helps anywhere and anytime I need him. Ryan Wesolowski (recently elected as the District IV National Director) took pictures on the course, and in the evening, Jeff Zary, John and Ryan helped with scoring by taking pictures of scorecards, reading numbers to me and tabulating skins.
My heart is full! Thank you tons!!! Enjoy the rest of the summer!
